Florida East Coast locomotive going over the Knights Key Bridge. This bridge, constructed as one of four parts of a much longer bridge (which would become the Old Seven Mile Bridge), was constructed by Henry Flagler between 1909 and 1912, as part of the Overseas Railroad. After a hurricane damaged the railroad in 1935, the US government converted the bridge for automobile use.
